Ask your MP to support the amendment on a National Commission on Electoral Reform
MPs are debating the Representation of the People Bill – a piece of legislation that will do much good, but so far fails to live up to its name.
A Representation of the People Bill that does nothing to the main thing holding back the representation of the people: First Past the Post.
But nearly 160 MPs have signed on to an amendment that would start to solve this problem by looking at a National Commission on Electoral Reform.
A body that would review the failure of First Past the Post and propose a replacement so we are finally properly represented.
