92 hereditary peers get a say over the laws in our country just because of the family you’re born into – not through experience or expertise, but through birthright. And they are trying to use that power to keep hold of their plush jobs.

The government are trying to finally throw them out, but they get a vote on their own future. And they don't want to leave.

The law to remove them has passed the House of Commons, but still needs to be signed off by the Lords themselves. We're so close to winning, but we need one last push.
