Can you imagine if our country looked like parliament? Only 35% of Britons would be women. 

Despite it being over 100 years since some women won the vote, the journey towards gender equality is far from complete. 

In the whole history of our democracy, we haven’t elected enough women as MPs to even fill the House of Commons.

Women are massively under represented, and we are left with a parliament that doesn't reflect the nation. 

This absence not only undermines the principles of equality and fairness but also deprives our democracy of diverse perspectives and experiences crucial for good governance. Something has to change.
