The Government are making it harder for us all to vote. They've moved the goalposts, and now we need photo ID to vote in the upcoming local elections. That isn't fair.

Over 2 million people don’t have photo ID in the UK, potentially blocking them from the ballot box. People you know that have been voting for decades could find themselves turned away.

We can't risk this at a general election. Support us to change that, add your name to say you don't want voter ID.

Why change whay works

Voting in the UK is safe and secure, and has been for decades. There hasn't been any change in this - but the government has decided to meddle with how we vote, so you now need ID or you'll be blocked from the ballot box.

Just one voter turned away is one too many. When the government tested out their scheme in a handful of areas in 2018 and 2019, over 1,000 voters were refused a ballot for not having the right paperwork.

These changes are going to make it harder for many people who have taken part in our elections for decades to vote. Lots of older people no longer have passports and still have paper driving licences that aren't accepted as ID. Veterans were told they could use defence ID’s, but the vast majority were required to hand them in when they left the forces - and Veteran's ID Cards aren't even on the list.

We didn’t need ID before, and we don't need it now.
