Background

I'm in the majority who oppose Boris Johnson's new peerages - are you?

There are reports that the prime minister is planning to hand out 20 or more peerages to his supporters when he leaves office.

New polling has found that a majority of people (54%) oppose these plans to pack the Lords with new peers - the poll even found that amongst 2019 Conservative voters just 21% support Johnson making new appointments with 41% against. The country is opposed to these appointments, they shouldn't happen.
